Hi!
if the info is all ready here somewhere, sorry for that.
Can't find it
Is there any other model which have same upper sprocket in chaincase than phazer?
i have 151" with clutch/helix kit and 17/41 gearing
Now that i have tuned chassis very good i think i can put one teeth bigger upper gear..
do i have buy it from dealer?
or is it some other models also, so i can buy it used

Are you still running a stock secondary clutch or have you upgraded to the modern Vmax style? Reason I ask is because upgrading to the Vmax secondary allows more overdrive so you can run more speed without swapping gears. Another added benefit is better backshift which is nice with a big track like that. I'm sure someone around here should have a 18t laying around, many short track guys drop to 17t. I run a 18t in my MTX and I run out of clutch at 83mph on speedo with a Vmax secondary, 88mph with a 19t. Stock secondary was only 75 with a 17t and 83 with a 19t.

i get only about 68 mp/h real gps speed
I believe i 8 teeth "track sprockets" . one teeth smaller anyways. (i did not build sled )
so what model year Vmax secondary i start to looking for?
And does the helix fit from my phazer original secondary to Vmax ? or is Vmax secondary very good as it is?
My downshifting is now very good. Almost never had to use brake. even if i drive very fast at trails

8 tooth sprocket is stock on the MTX, which I have and 68 GPS sound dead on for a 17t. 18t will allow ~4mph more before your out of clutch and 19t ~8mph more. I ran a 19t + Vmax secondary and could hit 82mph GPS under ideal conditions which showed 91 on the speedo but I only have a 1.5" 144 on my sled. With a 18t+Vmax It will run 78gps/87speedo when the clutches are shifted out and will still creep up higher if I let the RPMs climb. 95-96 VMAX 500/600 clutches are a direct bolt on with a spacer + longer bolt

I believe this is original FX and gearing are now 17/41
Way it behaves does not feel like underpower or dead. Very quick to top speed
it goes ideal condition about 125 kmh (meter, not gps)
i know meter lies about 10 km/h at top so it goes 115 an ideal condition and i believe it is 71 mp/h
gonna try that vmax secondary...
I have 1" 151 camoplast challencer..

I would definitely look into more overdrive before gearing up, especially with the Phazer's limited HP. Every tooth bigger is going to cut 5% of your torque to the track and with a 151 you don't to be doing that if you can avoid it. That's the reason dropped back to a 18t, decided to give up that extra 2-3mph on long pulls for more grunt while boondocking. I've run the 17t 18t and 19t and the 18t works best with my 144x1.5" freeride. If I ever get around to installing the Challanger 156x2 I have then the 17t is going back in.
