what is the correct proceedor,jack the rear end 6ft in the air and crack the 14mm nut above the roll over valve?

To bleed it - you should be able to pull the lowest hose on the engine and let it run out. Likely have to lift the rear.
To fill it - lift the rear end up - like 18-24" and start filling through the fill cap.
Since i used the come along to lift the nose, i could rock the sled back and forth as the coolant neared the top - letting air work its way out.
Took awhile but worked fine.

You want the bleeder bolt above the rollover valve to be the highest point. Here's what I do.
1. Start sled and bring up to temp. Thermostat opens at 75-76C.
2. Once sled reaches that temp I feel the rear heat exchanger to see if it's hot. That tells me coolant is moving.
3. Crack the 14mm bolt above the roll over valve and bleed air out.
4. Let sled cool.
5. Repeat as many times as required to be confident you have all the air out.
Works for me every time.

thanks for the response Sevey,andDMCTurbo,that is to the best of my reccolection DMCTurbo.i recently had water pump seal replaced,as well as front right cooler hose?go figure? and they didn't get it bled properly.so i'll give it a try now,lol,lol,hard to find good help lol lol.thanks again guys. Mark

My process is close to DMCTurbo except I also use actual radiator cap as a bleed point too. Nose of sled higher than back by a couple feet if possible. Run sled and watch air burp out. These sleds take patience to bleed correctly. Usually, it takes some actual riding too to get all air bubbles out. Once bled completely, coolant level should stay constant when cold in overflow bottle. Coolant level will rise when sled is hot and fall back to same level when sled cools. Should not have to add coolant throughout riding season. If you do, either there is air in system or you have a leak somewhere. I ride whole season and never have to add coolant.

you want front end up.... you can use screw drive to hold open thermostat and also take plug above turbo out. with backend up air will be in the heatexchanger. i have a pressure kit for mine now cuz the air lock is what smoked my cylinder.

I always drill a very small hole in my thermostat to ensure there is always at least some circulation and ensure any air can get out. It does not affect running temp - the hole I drill is small - like 1/16 to 3/32. Also helps prevent cold quench when not able to warm sled up before riding. Of course, always ride easy until engine coolant temp comes up.

this is defintely time consuming,a real pia proceeder,slow slow slow ...Max Rolph are you opening the therostat in the fill bottle also with the screw driver while running the sled?

its not how i do it, i do with a pressure cap, but it was mentioned on here thats how some do it, its under rad cap, and take plug off reservoir above turbo.
