Yes, part throttle light load your blow off valve will be open and dumping unneeded pressure. Now your fuel controller thinks your naturally aspirated. I.E. better fuel mileage and better drive ability.

promod is right. at light load you can hear the excess presseure being released. also it is more responsive to a throttle chop than w/o bov.

Who says it has to be mounted on the inter cooler. It can also be divorced. Think about it.
