So Badacious, you're saying that all the new Yamaha stock bogies have molded in bearings, instead of a c-clip retainer???
My inner wheels on my Warrior weren't that way....Just curious what year/model and exact position of wheels you're referring to.
Thanks.

You are going to go back to DOO for Idler wheels!!!!! Then go ahead, because you will have more than just idlers to worry about, like piston and rings. I know, I just got off 25 years of riding them, ending with a REV 800. Until DOO does something to fix all of the issues with there Series 3 motors, they will never see me again. Even, if they do, I doubt they will see me again. Do you think DOO would have covered the bearings. I highly doubt it. Their customer service sucks.Bodacious said:I'm a bit disapointed with my dealer, 5 out of 6 of my idlers have very noisey bearings, loud and some won't coast hardly at all. However I have not had a rubber seperation on any of them in 3000 miles. I have the YES extra 4year plan. Dealer said that the bearings within the idlers would not be covered, he sugguested that I buy new bearings from them, I told them that the bearings are not replacable, but are molded within the wheel itself....he said huhhhhh....... got to love those "service managers"! Anyway, it's not worth pitching a bitch, it just give me a reason to walk into the DOO Store and buy from them instead. Wonder what model changes Doo will have for the 08' season!

every 5.125 wheel on the 2006 monoshock skid has a molded in bearing. There is no part# molded into the wheel but these wheels are the ones everyone has problems with delaminating.
The bearing in the wheel is not replacable if the bearing goes bad you throw the wheel away
I just took off every 5.125 wheel to remove the bearing seals and grease the bearings.
I have not done any of the other wheels yet so i am not too sure about them.

I have an 06' Attak all 6 idler wheels ahead of the rear axtle have non-replacable bearings ( molded within the plastic. ) I will not buy the same stly of idlers from Yamaha...... all I asked was if Tork had the DOO idler wheel part numbers. I have put over 6000 miles on those idlers with no bearing issues. Yes, I will have to go to a Ski-Doo dealership to buy them as my Yamaha dealer doesn't carry SkiDoo idlers.
SledFreak: personally I don't consider it a crime to look at what the other manufacturers have to offer from time to time. I like my Attak a lot, but I'm not planing on riding it for the rest of my days! Sorry I offended you!!

You didn't offend me and I did not mean to make it come across like that or insult you in any way, all I"m saying is that currently, with the all the issues with the series III engines, I would not even bother looking there until, they change up there motors and prove they are reliable again. I just love my GT so much and the sound of that 4 cylinder 4 stroke, I may never go back to DOO as I love my Yamaha that much. The idlers are minor compared to all the other issues I have ever had with DOO and their bullshit customer service.Bodacious said:I have an 06' Attak all 6 idler wheels ahead of the rear axtle have non-replacable bearings ( molded within the plastic. ) I will not buy the same stly of idlers from Yamaha...... all I asked was if Tork had the DOO idler wheel part numbers.
