I know this subject has been beat to death but I thought I would ask for imput on the subject. I normally run 110 octane race gas at 80/20 and usually run 16 pounds of boost with gt28rs, sometimes up to 18. 06 Apex with J&E pistons 10-1 compression with Falicon rods. My fuel supplier is currently out of fuel and I have about 10 gallons left, not even a full weekend. I ride at 7000-10,000 feet. I would sure like to get some feed back from guys who have used av-gas. My fuel will not be in for about 3 weeks. I know avgas is rated at 100ll, but I was told that it has a motor octane rating of 105?

I run my Apex with 100 LL at 17 pds boost stock pistons and rods. Mcxpress headshim only . 1000 miles of boost so far no probs sea level up to 4500 ft.
