I have an '09 XTX and an '06 Apex with and XTX skid in it. One of tehm is getting boost this summer. I ride the trails agressively, and ride off trail agressively. I like riding the XTX more than the Apex, but the raw power of the Apex is nothing to want to give up.
If you had the choice, which would you own/boost?

he has more track then you have rxrider
Nate I would do the XTX but will never have the money to have a new sled and boosted. I'm just getting around to bossting my 03 rx this summer! LOL
Actually the more I think about it the apex is probably better, the electronics are all worked out, the tank is large enough that you wont need fuel with a boosted xtx every 60 miles LOL
I like the gauge and everything much better with the apex.

I ride both nytro and attak. The nytro is a great sled however when i switch back and forth i feel more comfortable on the attak at higher speeds. The nytro is fine with stock hp not sure how stable it would be with an extra 100+hp under the hood. I was planing on boosting the nytro this summer but after all the extra $ i'm putting in the attak again this winter i doubt it will happen.

I hate to say I'm thinking the XTX. From reports of other mods and members of the site, MPI has alot more research into the Nytro setup, adn I'm not looking for top speed, I'm a corner to corner or off trail rider. I tend to ride my Nytro until I can't take it anymore, then take a relaxing rip on the Apex. However, with the addition of the XTX skid to the Apex, it has become a totally different machine, adn along with the 13 mm bar, the PCIII, and a few other little mods, it's a blast to ride.
I have yet to see any boosted Nytros on the TY rides, and the pricing for the kits seems to be the same. I like the fact that the Nytro kit is packaged well, adn you can't see the intercooler. 200 hp on the Nytro would be a blast climing hills adn ripping through the powder, but the Apex with 230 hp is very tempting too.
Thanks for the input, guys, keep it coming, and stay tuned... It'll be a surprise to me too, as I may not make the decision until I pick up the phone to order!!
