BOSS Buyers, PLEASE READ ASAP !!!

Hey matt my seat is still setting on my porch ,should i call boss or just wait ,i think i was the first to call boss with a problem and still no pick up. Am i being to impatient? :?

Paul, all pick ups have been issued as of today. They should be picking yours up very soon. If you like, feel free to call them direct to find out for sure...

Matt

I think they picked it up the second i wrote the post, seat is gone. I hope they have better luck this time fitting the seats,or they lose all there profits in shipping

Mine was gone when I got home and UPS left a tag with the tracking number.

ya, and my seat is still here after Gus told me yesterday they would have it picked up today. so i called him again today and they no recollection i talked to them yesterday!!

Guys: We just tried to fit two different seats. No way will they work. The front part that goes under the gas tank is too thick. Additionally, one of the seats has a couple of serious creases in this area. Also, there is a significant problem along the edge by the side exhaust covers. Even if these are trimed on the top, the mounting bolts on the snow tunnel are still in the way. The seat material and foam will have to be altered in this area. Also, I am concerned about the lack of support for the tail light assembly. It is bolted to the factory seat on the top. The Boss design results in it floating on the top. I hope boss is looking at all of the issues, and not simply a quick fix up near the tank. Any thoughts?

Your issues are the same as mine as well as your concerns. I too hope Boss makes these seats work :?

Thanks BBY. We all continue to appreciate your leadership on this issue. I am sure it will work out in the end. Heck, we were not supposed to see these seats in the first place until fall!

I just got mine in and tried to put it on :o| .........well it aint gonna be a quick fix on they're part, more like a complete overhaull :ORC

According to my tracking number Boss took delivery of my seat yesterday. I wonder how long they will take to correct it and ship it back :exc:

How did everyone handle the shipping back to Boss? I was away last week and 3 pick-up notices on my door. After work yesterday I took the seat in to UPS and was charged to send it back. They said the notices didn't mean anything. I'll be making a phone call soon.

They most certainly did. It meant that UPS was suppose to pick it up at no charge to you and return it to Boss at Boss's cost.

Two phone calls made. Matt is excellent to deal with (but we already knew that). ;)!

Boss will be calling me back. :?

After waiting and no call from Boss, I called again and they resolved everything. ;)!

I also asked about turn around time and they said they were fixing the seats as they came in. "Figure on a couple weeks to fix it, and a couple weeks just in case." is what I was told. My guess would be september, but there's no snow anyway.
