Bothered by "Slim Jim Dooly"

Yup! excellent carbide setup. The only thing I found negative about them is late season riding when gravel at road crossings etc begin to exposed, it gets jammed in them, usually the 3/4" crushed type, now I don't leave home without a flat screwdriver to pry it out.
Other than that there excellant in all other conditions.

Either of the Woody's Dual Runner products seem to perform better than the Studboy "Deuce Bar" I had no luck with those and have a nice lightly used set for anyone that wants them. I have said it before, even though they are more expensive than stock or entry-level bars, the Dooly is the best bang for the buck to help out stock Yamaha skis without replacing the entire ski.

There are better options of course, but for the price, the bang-for-buck is pretty darn good.

Maybe perhaps setup has some to do with it or the machine. I run the Deuce bars 5 inchers and swear by them as of now on the stock mid-keel Yammie skis. (Provided my current sled is NOT rider forward.) Then again though, the only time I got to experience the Dooly's was on an older ZR platform.
