So, I´ve been thinking real hard about getting a newer ride. Always liked the 4-cylinder 4-strokes...

Friend of mine and I talked a while back about his 07 Warrior GT, and that he felt it was bit too much for him (weight and power wise). So, I joked about buying it from him. To my surprize, he called me a week ago and said that if I wanted that sled, we could talk about making a deal. Here is the result then :

I bought it.

Rode 130 km´s on it today. FEELS pretty good.

Some things that I noticed compared to my old Vmax-4:

-Handwarmers suck. Vmax-4 has top notch warmers, and this thing is COLD. And the Warrior GT has no cover angainst wind. Again, Vmax-4 is better here.

-Suspension needs tweaking and tuning for my size and riding style on the 4-stroke. No comparison there, much better than the old V4 (dough!).

-Way too much ski pressure for my liking. It´s harder to turn than my V4.

-And the track must be changed. Stock ripsaw just don´t cut it. I´ll probably go for a 144 track with 1,5 inch paddles on the 4-stroke.

It has a skid plate, wide ski skins and a tow hitch allready. I´ll probably install a engine preheater to it later.

My Vmax-4 will be ridden only on sunny spring sundays.. I´ll never sell it. Too much warm feelings towards it I guess.

Glad to hear you got a 4-stroke.

Regarding the heavy steering, something isn't right as the stock settings should make steering very easy. Maybe he adjusted the limiter strap from the stock setting? :dunno:

For the handwarmers, either get Rock's kit or put on a set of gauntlets. ;)!

I have pair of gauntlets...

And I´ll see about those skid settings too. Have to read trough the owners manual first though.

OT Swiss sledder, where do you go for a ride? I know there is sometimes snow at UK, but still?

what are those skis??damn they look really wide, welcome to the group, nice color to :)

Thank´s guys!

Those are 10 inch wide ski skins, with a tall tip. Helps alot when goin over faller trees in the deep snow etc. A finnish company makes them.
