Broken drive axle 3500 miles

Some kind of faith in God is needed anytime you are near or operating anything man makes....lol..seriously..
I was a toolmaker, and now have equipment maintenance for a large manufacturer, where we build fossil and nuclear steam turbines and generators, and believe me, 10 million dollar custom built machine tools break. Castings fail, shafts fail, electronics fail, designs fail, and these things are well maintained. Bottom line is anything can fail at anytime for any reason. If it is a pattern, I would be a little concerned (like the monos cracking), but no one checks or x rays every casting or piece of steel. Stuff happens.

Reality check!

I don't think going to a REV is a good option if you are looking for a "MORE RELIABLE" sled. Thats what us doo'ers did when we switched to Yami.

I really should clarify my REV comment--I'm never buying Ski-Doo, the REV was just so much easier to handle and throw around. I'm thinking a Nytro would be better suited for the twisty small local trails I normally run on. I've never felt like I've been 'beat up' on my Attak, something lighter would be welcome though. There, I feel better now!
