broken driver

Hi guys,been awhile since I've been on and again I come to the experts for advise.My driver shaft broke between the sprocket and tunnel on chain case side.I got it all apart for replacement except for the nut on top gear in chain case.My question is how can I get it to break free so I can remove the case so I can put in new shaft?

Hold the secondary clutch stationary and you'll be able to crack the chaincase nut.
