I have a 2013 xtx and I was riding it yesterday on a flat trail(no wash board) and the front right shaft on the shock just snapped. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yep. The dealer must of put the washers that go on spindle bushing on the lower shock mount. They covered mine, their fault.

Check if ur missing washers on ur spindle bushings, and there shouldn't be any washers between the a arm and shock.

I hope they can fix it tomorrow, dropped it off 10 minutes before they closed on saturday so will call first thing tomorrow morning. And of couse were suppose to get 6 to 10 inches tonight.

6-10 go for you guys...hope it comes this way

And I hope they get your sled fix for you

Well after picking my sled up from the dealer last night I went riding due to 11 inches of fresh snow and 30 miles into it the other shock did the same exact thing. Now im pushing for upgraded shocks, its not only a inconviance but now im concerned with the safety part.

I know this is a old topic but I just ran across it. You were right they put the washers on the shocks instead of the skis, all good now!

really great dealer out there, fixed one side never checked other side. and even better dealer that set sled up in the first place since shocks are put on at dealership when sled comes in crate. and dealers wonder why they make no $.
