broken wire at monoshock solenoid, 1 1/2" to go

the wire is broken 1 1/2" from the solenoid on the shock.


can i undo the shock bolt and slip the shock down to splice and solder the wires? or will it pop out and rebound my face?

I would take shock right out, not that bad to do
Lift rear of sled remove the rear transfer rod bolt,
Once you do that the shock will come out easy...
