I bought one today. Local dealer had 3 left. High demand with limited quantity to dealers. Was gonna wait for the Novi show but questioned how many will be left by then. They’re going fast. I have an original modular and bv2s which have worked perfectly for me. No fogging issues and warm. My only concern is the quality of shield. Looks to be good but had a problem initially with my bv2s shield. It delaminated and fogged between the layers. Got rid of it and replaced with a non electric shield and zero problems after that. This shield appears to be much nicer and has no mouth deflector mask set up. So obviously the concern is if the cord or shield fails you are likely screwed. And of course that will happen on a back pack trip 500 miles from your truck. Hopefully that won’t happen. I’ve seen a few reviews from riders that had proto types and wore them last year with no problems. The magnetic connection in the back of the helmet is cool and is very secure. Led light is also very nice. Helmet is lighter and more comfortable than the modular and bv2s. Nice without a mask compressed against your face. Sizing was the same for me. Xl in modular/bv2s and for oxygen. Some have said they run large and had to go down a size but not for me. They do have ear dampening muffs that come stock. If you don’t like them and remove, it will make your helmet looser. So keep that in mind. They Velcro into place. Also has a controller that has 3 heat settings on it. Reviewers said you can actually feel residual heat coming off the shield which keeps your face warm. Overall looks like a nice lid, but yes pricey. If it works as advertised and last like my last 2 helmets I’ll have no issue paying the price. I will post an updated review when the snow flys.
