BRRRRR!!!!!

If the cold front that was hanging over Alaska hits you guys- hold on. It was a deep one that seemed like it wouldn't end.

Now it's 26 and suppose to be in mid 30's tomorrow.

ok so -40c here which is -40f we usually have these kinda days 4 times a week so the yammies are built tougher out here lol

Yup it's cold, but in the morning with -34c I have to start up my sled and go check on the groomers we have runnung here. Even with the cold spell the grommer broke thru on a couple of the beaver dams today.

we are having our yearly -40c snap atm. i have sledded in it before but prefer to run the aircool at these temps

2 years ago,we left from cochrane and it was -46c,coldest i ever rode on the trail,we had to stop every 15 min to clean our visors cuz it just wouldnt stay clear,it was too cold, not much fun but we managed to ride to hearst, the hot tub was sooo nice that night

We just got rid of the cold front hitting you within the last 2 days. Not is is in the high 30's and raining. :o|

We are coming into a little cold snap too! ;)!

My plan for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday is to cold soak RS Venture and around 5:00 am each morning attempt to start the sled.

I'll document my findings on the Yamalube Performance Project above in the sticky section.

After a day of riding in Quebec last Saturday, eight of us were crossing back into the US at the Jackman border station. It was 10:30 at night and -20 F. The customs agent, after berating us for parking the sleds 10 feet from the line, made us all take off our helmets while they reviewed our passports, asked us all questions, and searched all eight sleds. Two agents did this for eight guys so it took about fifteen minutes. The entire time we had to stay out side with our helmets off. Needless to say, the twenty minutes from the border to camp were not a pleasant trip.
