Anyone here actually use one of these skids last year on snow?
If so how is the overall weight?
Transfer?
Ride quality?
Price?
Where exactly did you get it from?
How much $$?

Thanks in Advance.

There was a post on here about it quite a while ago.I would try doing a search under the moutain forum.

Climbmax, We are using Kevins K-Mod mountain suspension systems on our blown RX-1's and love it. Weight loss on the RX's is aprox 19#s and his new Apex kit is 15#s. They ride like a caddy and the weight transfer is great, and keeps the front end down. He also built a supercharger\turbo "H" arm which is beefed up on the top part. (we were bending them on the grass because we were hitting the limit straps so hard on the launch.) Fact is we liked it so well we became dealers!! It was a natural to go with our billet wheels!! PM me for pricing, you won't be disappointed.

I have a bullydog on my MM. Not a real good comparison for a turbo application.

Weight Transfer - Feels good so far
Ride Quality - Huge improvement over the stock suspension
Price - $995.00
Purchase - need to talk to Michael at Bullydog. (he is the owner or a co-owner, can't remember)
the only thing it doesn't upgrade is the front shock. You end up retaining the stock front shock.
I believe it is well worth the money and would/will put one on my next project.
Spray25 on this site has one too. Look for his post. He was extremely happy about his compard to the one he was using.

Hope this helps.

I'm interested in the K-mod but wondering how it compares to the 07' Apex skid? Does it have a more transparent ride, does it get on top of the snow better? Any info would be great ? THX

skid

promod63 i woulnd mind hearing the perticulars on this skid i want to run it in a rear mount turbo apex

I just ordered one (K-Mod suspension)! I should be able to ride it sometimes in november! will let you know how it works compare to the stock one!

I would like more info on the KMOD as well, would like to lighten up the apex skid and the ride is supposed to be excellent. Anyone selling them in Canada yet?
