Just curious if anyone has had any minor issues with the 3 cyls burning a little oil.
I had my low oil symbol come on for a brief bit at startup on our 2010 Vector. I have kept an eye on the level, and it was checked about 200 miles ago. So, after seeing the symbol, I checked it. Sure enough, it was right at the E mark.
I'm not worried about it, just curious if anyone else noticed theirs using some.
And, no, it's not leaking it.

Start it again and run it for a few minutes and see if the light goes off.
A few times my light has come on. Sometimes when I check it, it shows low.
The first time it happened I had to drive it to get oil and the light went out.
I checked again before putting any it and it was right up.
This has happened 3 times now and I have never needed to put any oil in.
Now, I just shut it off for a minute and start it again and the light goes off
beats me

It stayed on the whole time the warm-up light was on, that's what led me to believe it was truly low. I let it fully warm up (idled for a good 5 minutes) and then I drove it around the yard slow (oil icon was off) & into the garage. Checked the oil & it was down at the bottom of the add mark.
I added about 1/2-2/3 pint. Like I said, I'm not worried at all.

When my low light comes on, its barely on the stick, like all the oil disapeared, shut it off, start it up and its back again, right to the top

Not for more than whatever it takes to pull the hood & side panel after shutting it off.
That's the idea of checking them warm vs cold. After sitting for awhile some of the oil will make it's way back to the crankcase & thus the tank will be "low". If checked cold, one may assume it's low & overfill it.

Maybe thats what is happening to mine.
It always happens first start of the day, and usually colder days.
But I always have to stop it and start it again to get the light to go off.

- 2008 40th Anniversary Vector.
1995 XLT SP (Son's)
Never had this problem yet, but I make sure, after an oil/filter change that the level is is at the top of the hash marks with the dip stick "NOT" screwed in, just like it says in the manual.
Curious, Catman, what oil are you using?

My 08' Vector has 4913 miles on it..................Had the oil changed at 600, 2000 and again at 4250 miles!!!!! In between 600-2000 I used about a 1/2 quart and another 1/2 quart between 2000-4250......bought the sled new in Oct 09' so since I have owned it-it has burned about 1 quart!!!!!
Also I've used "burnt" about the same amount if not a little more of antifreeze during the same time!!!!!
