Last season I went though almost 2 quarts of oil in just over 2000 miles and was worried about the piston rings leaking. I just did compression and leakdown tests with the engine hot and found that the two outer cylinders were only able to get to 135 psi compression while inner cylinders hit 160 psi. Also, the two outer cylinders took about 4 times as many cycles to get to their max pressure compared to the inner cylinders. During the leakdown test, the two outer cylinders showed 40 - 50% leakage when the inners had a consistent 25 - 30% leakage. During the leakdown test, I could hear air through the intake passage at top dead center, so I am thinking I have some stuck/leaky valves. My engine only has 8000 miles on it, so I am hoping there are some effective oil and/or fuel treatments available to fix this without needing to take the engine apart. I realize that leaking valves don't account for the oil usage, but I am trying to fix one problem at a time. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Used it on a rx1 a few years ago up north and it help with his issue of burning oil. It tells you to change the oil or you could use Seaform and put that in the oil too.
