Burning Rubber

so you left the rear axle wheels alone and just bolted on the wheels...in the center and front etc.

There is quite a bit of difference between hyfax & rubber smell...
Could this be the unopen windows of the track that burn like that ?
Our Venture in 2005 were prone to mess our Ripsaw pretty bad at that location to the point of blistering. Was pretty obvious then to full clip or wear pad the thing.

Almost all of my wheels have ripped the rubber off them one time or another?I think it is the lack of proper wheels and slides on these's sleds....I am going through 3 sets of slides in 1900 miles why?do not know? track is loose but do not ratchet ......good going for sleding and still the burning....

Yes that's what i did, aVenture,i agree but on the ripsaw track, there is not enough metal guides so your slides are in contact whit allot of rubber, thats where the rubber smell comes from, anyway how do you explain that the smell is gone since i have bigger wheels.
