Ok people 1st off I got some rare footage to share, but I don't want to get any negative feedback from animal rights thinking what i did was wrong. My intent was never to chase an animal, from 5km away I thought what I was going toward was a wiped out sled, then it started to run away?!?!?!
Pemberton Ice Cap- June 2010 - well eating lunch on a peak, 3 of us noticed a black spot in the distance, we thought it was a wrecked sled but figured we better check it out. at 70km through 2 ft of fresh powder we approached the black spot when we got 100meters away it started running, I pulled out the camera and started to follow it from safe distance and started filming a very large bear, just mach'n it through the snow,
some serious National Geographic S--- right there.
after reviewing the footage we confirmed it to be a grizzly Bear, which are extremely rare in these parts, they say you will be lucky to one of these in the wild in your lifetime, Im glad I was on my sled.
