I am looking at the above ski's because sometimes she just doesn't want to turn. I was told the outlaws will have the less steering effort of the two. I would have thought the razors would be less. Does anyone have any input on this?

I don't believe the Outlaws steer easier due to the deeper keel and outer edge keels.

I'd recommend the Razors as the Outlaws require a different runner versus All the other C&A skis, therefore it's harder to find replacement runners and fewer aftermarket companies make them.

Also, on the Outlaws, the runner's front edge is completely exposed and very susceptible to catching an edge, ie. rail line. This can end you day really quick...can you say, bent subframe?

Get the Razors.

Go with the razors. I have them and where I point the skis the sled goes. As for the outlaws the above post is correct. They are a race ski buil for softer sugar type snow and much harder to turn. And the way the carbide sits on the ski they grab everything. Like I said I have the razors, great turning and no darting.

Thanks for the replies. I will be looking for the razors. Will probably wait until next year now - unless we get a snow storm in the next week or so?

I had some ADX's on my old Doo and the sled railed like crazy with those. The sled also was hard steering and you could not turn the bar when standing still. These skis turn hard.

So I picked up some razors, however they came with ski doo mounts. They are brand new with 6"shapers. I hope 375 was a decent deal. Anyways can I run them with the stock rubbers for a few miles prior to putting on the correct mount kit?
Thanks in advanced.

I have a set of Razors on my xtx - and yes you can run the stock rubbers with the skis. Mine showed up with the wrong rubbers so I used my stock ones until they showed up.

Shim them so that the front carbide is slightly off the ground when on a flat surface. This prevents the carbides from digging, thus reduces darting in the process.

Love the C&As!!
