looking to see what they have up there as well. I am in Sand lake, 30 min north of Grand Rapids, or 1 hour or so south of Cadillac. There is 4-6 on the ground, very heavy and wet snow, Just light lake effect snow now, not accumulating much more.

Caddy got 7 in , that came from my friend , call Rick at Lost Pines to verify.
I am on the road , and wish I could put a ski on it.

we went up and put in at manton on saturday 9am. trails were great, panned. 10-12" of snow total. bad thing is we only were about 15 miles down the trail, between fife lake and kalkaska and an oncoming rider didnt acknowledge my signal as to another rider behind me, and ran him off the trail in a blind turn. sled hit a tree. did some moderate front end cosmetic damage. no injuries, speed was under 20mph. anyway the trails were great to that point, would have loved to had made the whole loop. never rode those trails before. I dont know how they ended up later in the day

they were the older rev platform skidoos so they probably were not rentals, i would assume rental sleds would have been the newer rev chassis.

Saturday = beat trails , drunks , weekend warriors.
Could have been a lot worse , I hate hearing that kind of stuff.

Yes could have been much worse. Needs a new pipe new hood and some new support bumpers
In front. We found some used parts that saved us a lot of money. We actually left it at daves yamaha in cadillac to do the repairs. They were very friendly and helpful. I highly reccomend them. I am from indiana so i will go back up and get it on the next trip... Which who knows when that will be. Sounds like a warmup in the 7-10 day

bringing this thread back to the top in hopes that this weekends snow chances and next weeks storm possibilities come to fruition and get the trails rideable in 8-9 days! Heres to being optimistic in the worst winter ever! ha!
