so this year i put a new track on my 2010 apex ripsaw i installed 96 woodys studs on the pre marked nubs. first ride i ripped out 6 studs i torqued every studs to 15 lbs. i call camoplast and woodys. woodys replaced all my studs for nothing and told me that some of the camoplast tracks with the part # i have, had some problems with cords that shifted during manufacturing so there is no cords in the spot that studs are marked the next ride the track started to de-laminat camoplast told me cause a dealer didnt install the track that i was S.O.L. woodys was great to deal with and camoplast are terible so this year i put two tracks on in 2500 miles first one after 600 miles..

That sucks...I say keep harassing them...phone calls, emails and registered letters...until they come up to the plate and satisfy your complaint.
Unfortunately, Camoplast basically has a monopoly on tracks.
Btw, I feel that 96 studs on an Apex is far too few for that kind of horsepower...too much strain on them. Imo, 144 studs minimum for the shorty. If you are looking at studs for safety, ie, safer braking, icy corners, etc., I'd recommend a pre-studded Ice Ripper or Ice Attack track. No worries about stud pullouts, heat exchanger punctures, plus zero maintenance.

crap track
My buddy owns a 08 IQ 600 He had a new ripsaw "non studded" track put on sled when he bought it...Went for a run, easy Ontario trail run and when he got home a big chunk of the track delaminated...he had to remove track ....track had less than 100 miles....Your not the only one that has had issues..........l

1 stud per hp is the best formula to go by and as far as i am concerned dump the tall nuts, maybe they stiffen the stud up but i want the stud to bend not tear out of the track
been down this road and i am on my 3rd track now i have 144 studs regular sized nuts woodys steel double and single backers no more tear outs or issues after 2000km this year still looks perfect

We had a rip with one pullout in about 5000 miles. Tip few studs? Yes, but no way should that happen in 600 miles.

I agree, shouldn't happen. I've had the same track(kimpex) and studs for 6000 + km and no signs of stud tears. 95% trail riding though.

I'm confused.
What size and type of studs? 1.325? GoldDigger? or what.
Why would you need a new track for a 2010? also what track exactly? Exact OEM replacement type Ripsaw with 1.25 lug's?
