Camoplast has stop^d producing those CE with "lugs window lugs" so the standard non-slip wheels from avid and whalbros will not fit without modification on the track. The new CE has the same buildup as AC power claw. "small-lug window lug lug"

So if you buy a new set of drivers go for the AC drivers that will fit the new tracks.

This affects the 162*15*2.5 , guess its more than that.

that or take 5 minutes and clip the little nubs and have WAY stronger drivers from Avid....

this little tool...

Are these the new Avid drivers?!? I wonder why they changed them?

Avid AC drivers. Its not avid , its camoplast. Before it was the PC track who had this. Now the new challenger extreme track also got it. Guess it was changed as a needed update so all tracks fits. The nytro mtx stock drivers will fit perfectly on PC and CE now, but as always it melts down.

So now we all need too change the drives next time you buy a new track.
Its not a must , you can still cut it down as earlier.

I would have to agree. Those new drivers are the ticket. Each driver contacts both rows of involute nubs and drives through the window as well.

The OEM drivers melt. The tips of the drivers over time melt so they don't get as much grip. It happens more often with boosted sleds. My OEM drivers melted in 200 miles.

Ok, I'll check mine, Thanks.

Mine were melted in 1000 miles.Blamed it on low snow?I just cleaned them up with a file as I dont have a turbo or the steep climbs here in Maine.Had it out on the boarder cut with no issues.

So best to use the Arctic Cat drivers with new Camoplast Extreme? They must have the same size and shape of shaft??? Anyone got the part number of the Avid drivers? Anyone running them yet? No sound or vibration issues?

Thanks
