Read in Snowtech, Camoplast made a 144" ice attak (1" hacksaw track with studs in lugs). Wondering why they didn't make the ice ripper (1.25" rip saw with studs in lugs) in the 144" length. I'm shopping for an XTX this week and like the ice tech prestudded thing for xtra control but I don't see the 1" ice attak being better suited for the 3 hole genesis low end power and off trail use. Anyone running a 144" hacksaw on their xtx (or short track)? If so, how does it put the power down to hardpack groomed trails and how does is keep the XTX (or shorty) moving in the fresh or deep snow?
