Camshaft change RX1, ECP?s, and gutted exhaust

Hey guys,
Someone posted on here that you could change the stock RX1 camshaft to the Apex or R1 cam and gain 10 hp is this true? And has anyone here done it? What did it cost?

How is everyone liking there ECP kits in Powder? So is it 7hp on top end and 15 midrange? $250 right?

Also with gutted exhaust I think I may gain 5 hp that is what some aftermarket exhaust are claiming and with their weight savings they claim they cant be anything other than gutted. Would you think I should jet up any for the exhaust? Or no?

So all those power adders = 22hp 135+22=157HP

Saved 8 lbs of weight, with gutted exhaust.

The RX-1 and the R-1 cam are identical. I checked into it in depth. With the ECP and a gutted exhaust you will probably have to play with main jetting. If you are mechanical and don't mind.....go for it!

I thought the R1 race cams were the same as the APEX the APEX has bigger cams then the RX-1
