I have an '08 Vector. Is there a way to get the gauges to come on (ie. the gas gauge) without actually starting the motor? I would have thought the gauges and lights would come on with the key in the on (not the start) position. Am I missing something simple?

Gauges come to life only when the sled is running. I have jumped the the fuses in the small fuse box on my Attak to fire up the headlights without starting the sled. You could try that.

I think there might be a way...try searching for a thread on turning headlights on...something about holding a handwarmer switch on while turning the key. I remember it worked on my 05 Vector. I never tried it on my Nytro nor Apex.

Yea the kill switch.

Turning the key "on" should light up gauges. Unless battery is dead, or kill is off.

Just noticed this is on a carbed model. Both my FI sleds all gauges light/function when key is "on".
