I am looking to get used sled a 08 Nytro mountain can I make it in to a good trail sled what changes would be needed or should I just keep looking for a 09 XTX

Most of the mileage on mine is trail. Had they offered the XTX in 08, I would have bought that. Do I regret the MTX? No. But if you really like to rail the corners, you'd be happier on the XTX, just for the extra front width. My track has been cut down to 1.75" for slider wear issues last season. That and the XTX has the better rear shocks I think. The 08 MTX just has steelies in the rear and mine are toast.
