I am done with the BD controll box for several reasons i want to go into next season with a control box that does not get huge amounts of condensation inside of it and constantly say the button is stuck. (the box was always mounted in the proper spot on the sled) It has been sent in several times to get fixed, i got a lemon and i dont want to go there anymore.

I was told that MC-Express has a good controll box that is alot more user friendly for controlling your fuel (i am a dumb woodworker, i need a controll box that is really easy to use, not that the BD is hard to use, its just that there has got to be a control box out there that will do alot more of the functions for me, im not too savy on the technical stuff), Are there any other good boxes out there and can they be used on a BD set-up?

I just need some opinions,

thanks.

MC-Xpress controlbox controls extra injectors that is mounted in their intercooler!

BoonDockers is hooked up inline with Yamaha EFI and controls the engines std injectors, same as for example Dynojet's Powercommander and several others!

I have no experiance of any other then the MCX box, but i heard god things about the PowerCommander!

every one that I know that has been having issues with boondocker has switched to the Powercommander. You need to be fast fingered to do the adjustments but they work very well.

either go with the pure logic efi controler or dave from powder lites or synergy will have reprogrammed rapid bike 3 boxes

I meant to say Pure Logic in my post. Contact Outlaw Motor Sports in Enterprise, Oregon, 888-603-1273. They have sold a lot of the Boondocker kits and they can sell you a different box (Pure Logic is what they are using, I believe)

Has anyone tried the new simple tuner programming for the BD Box? It greatly simplifies the box...2 rpm ranges and 1 boost screen... and is available with Air Density Advantage...which mounts an air temp sensor in the intercooler and lets the box adjust for air density changes (as air temp changes the air density changes). It also comes with the numbers programmed in it...

We changed the overlays a couple years ago and fixed the "stuck button" issue...as for the moisture you see in the LCD...if its sealed properly you shouldnt have any...but if you take it apart you will need to re-silicone the box when you screw it back together to prevent moisture from getting in...

FYI...The new programming is a free upgrade to all BD Turbo owners...
