Just got confirmation from a local dealer here in Canada that Yamaha Canada offers the 3 year warranty on all 2007 sleds ONLY if they are spring ordered. Not sure when the promotion ends, probably by March 31st as stated by Yamaha USA. Finally, more incentive to order early. Hopefully they'll offer the YamaBucks too ! If anyone has any more info to offer, update this post and keep us informed.
to Yamaha !!!

I know, I check it often myself and haven't seen it posted on the Yamaha Canada website. I received an email from a dealer in PEI stating it. I know there was a show this past week in Ottawa, maybe they are going to announce it soon. Perhaps the website hasn't been updated yet. It is supposedly offered by Yamaha Canada for early orders only !

Suspect the 3 year warranty is 1 year Yamaha then 2 years after market with a deductible each issue in that last 2 year segment.

Yamaha Canada's extended warranty is called YPP for Yamaha Protection Plus. It is a fully in-house program that is almost identical to the first year factory warranty. The only difference is the seat and body panels are not covered in the YPP (years 2 and 3).
That means EDP buyers will get a full 3 year coverage against defects on all major parts like the new 80hp engine, suspension, major drive components (not wearing parts like weights & rollers), etc.
Deductable is zero!
All administration is through Yamaha (no hassle for your dealer).
Mileage limit is 20,000kms.
It has been offered for a couple of years for an extra charge.
It will only be a bonus on early deposit units....in season purchases next fall will be only one year (but you could buy the extra).
