on my 95 bigbear. i just completely cleaned every nook and cranny. what is the proper carb adjusting procedure? how many turns on the air screw, and setting the cable, how far up is the slide supposed to be? boot to the carb is in good shape, and sealed to the airbox. there is a jet of somekind in the float bowl. im not sure what its for, so i took it out and cleaned it out. i think it had crap in it. just need adjusting procedure now.

1 1/2 to 2 1/2 turns.... start low then run it and give it a little 1/4 turn at a time... you will feel the sweet spot. The slide will go all the way to the top until its contoured to the hole in the throat of the carb....
