05 rx1 carbs clean, feels like a butterfly sticking in carb. when you snap the lever back and pull feels tight and you can here a click. this issue is causing the t.o.r.s. to actavate. anyone have this problem ? cable looks fine and i cleaned carbs. any help thanks

Try disconnecting / unscrewing the ferule for the throttle cable. Just back the lock nut off and carefully unscrew it from the mounting plate. Then pull the whole cable carefully by hand to see how it feels. This will eliminate the cable itself as a problem.
Are you sure the cable is seated correctly in the plate between the carbs? That ball on the cable has to be all the way in and allow the cable to fit into the groove in that plate.
When you reattach the ferule, be careful lining up the threads with the mounting plate. If you can open the carbs slightly with one hand to relieve some of the pressure on the cable it helps. Then adjust the gap on the flipper (throttle) to spec.
