Currently running the curves with the 6" shaper bar and the 4" leading edge on my Sidewinder LTX LE with 1.6" Ice Cobra Track. Have ran these skis for 11,000km and have always put on the shaper bars. Overall I find the sled handles good, steering seems a little heavy but have tightened up center shock and am happy. I do notice slight darting at lower speeds sometime when the trail is set up hard but nothing major.

I know there are plenty of other options for carbides on these skis and just looking to see if anyone had ran the 4" leading edge with the 6" shaper bar and ended up going to something else and liking it better. I know a lot of guys are running the 6" Slim jims, but have read some reviews about aggressive trail riding your better to stick with the shaper bars. Also see they now may snowtrackers for the curve skis, has anyone tried them with the leading edge?

6” slim Jim on mine. No darting. Handles tight twisters very well. Set up just slightly light for some fluff on trail. On hard pack she goes where you point it easily.

Currently if the trails are loose I will get slight push when riding aggressive, wonder if there would be more push with the slim jims?

I think we are talking the same language just different wording. Yes in loose conditions I have just a slight push. Anything remotely firm no push at all. I’m running 144 studs down middle also.

I have tried both, slim jims work well except more push in softer snow, prefer shapers with leading edge
