As I was going over the sled I noticed a good amount of carbon build-up on the top of the spark plugs. My 01 SRX used to do this as well and would not run well on top until cleaned with brake clean. My stock plugs with about 1800 miles on them did not seem to carbon up like this. Enough build-up would weaken the spark i'm sure. :roll:

try taking off the top rubber caps of your coils. reinstall the coils with out the top caps and start the engine.
