It takes 8oz. when completely empty. I checked with the dealer before inspecting my Chain Case. The dealer looked up the amount in a manual. I put one 8oz container in and it brought the level between Full and Empty on the dipstick (the amount is listed on the top of the clutch guard). I think if you drain the Chain Case from the drain plug you don't get all the lube out, mine was completley empty. Here is the picture of the Bottle of Chain Case Lube. It says 237ml. which is 8oz. If you look closeley at the bottom of the bottle you will see 8oz. Also a pic of the spec from the Clutch Guard.

Does yours have reverse. Mine does and I know I did not put 8 OZ in it, but I can tell you mine was way overfilled. Plus mine was completely empy, ebcause I drained it with the drain plug and then I pulled the cover off to change the gear and there was no lube left. Mine only took 3-4 for the line on the dipstick with reverse.mrance111 said:SledFreak said:It's probably only about 3-4 OZ. Add a little and monitor the dip stick.

Yes mine has reverse. Did you take your chain case cover off to completely empty all the lube? If not, that may be the difference. I read on here somewhere that if you empty the chain case from the drain plug you can’t get all the lube out. I was inspecting the chain and gears so I had to take the chain case cover off. This allowed me to completely empty all the lube.

Yes, my cover was off because I dropped the top gear to 23 from 24.mrance111 said:SledFreak
