Hi my chain is really close to the chain case cover. But it looks like there is a little pad in ther incase it rubs!!! Does anyone know what i mean. Take chain case cover off and look at chain it is close to the iner chain case cover. What is up woth this???

I am guessing that we are talking about one with reverse. There is a plate installed on those to protect the cover due to the reverse idler gears forcing the chain slightly closer to the cover. It is more of a safety measure for if the machine is not properly maintained and has a bit too much chain slack. Nothing to panic about.
yes it does have reverse. i was just concerned!!!
