Chaincase question

I have a 2014 Apex SE and was wondering how often should I open up the chaincase and check the gears and chain? The sled has 6400 trouble free miles on it and is completely stock with no studs. I do change the chaincase fluid once a year and it never looks bad. I would also like to say that this has been the most rock solid sled that I have ever owned!

Opinions will vary greatly here, but I changed oil every year and would change all bearings in case along with chain every 12,000 miles.

I check chain tension and lube level when I perform a post-season inspection.

Almost any other sled would be worthless after 12,000 miles, if they made it that far!
