Changing air filter location question

Anyone who has moved their air intake on the rear mount Mcx Rx1 outside, did you have to jet up either on your needles or mains from the stock jetting rather than having the filter inside the cover. I am mainly using this at altitude and in powder snow. I hit the hill every 2nd or 3rd run and it falls on its face and breaks up on top with high a/f and only 9800 rpm, then maybe the next time I am okay with 12.4 a/f and 10600 rpm and clean. I have meth injection from Dave at Hurricane but pretty sure I am bringing in some water too. Anyone with a close setup and info would be helpful. Thanx

When you are injecting meth/H20 your A/F will show richer than just running straight gas.
Keep this in mind that you may be running a bit leaner than you think.

I have the filter outside.Used electrical plastic pipe and abs fitting
with a k&n outerwear screen .I will try to dig up some pics.
