Just making sure that you can charge the battery by attaching the charging cables to the jumper leads on a Vector.. Is this correct?

my dealer told me that u should only use a 2amp trickle charge if u use the leads and make sure the kill switch and the ignition is in the off position

The trickle charge is probably the most effective way to charge your battery anyways. I use the have Ultimate 4's on each of my sleds and leave them plugged in most of the time during the winter as it keeps them freshly charged.
