The Charlevoix Snowmobile Club will sponsor the fourth Annual Snowmobile Ride-In on Saturday, January 31, 2004 from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 p.m. The ride-in participants will rendezvous in downtown Charlevoix’s East Park where riders can warm up by the bonfire and enjoy free hot dogs, chili, hot chocolate and coffee. There will be drawings throughout the afternoon for a wide variety of door prizes donated by area merchants.
Enjoy a longer ride with the extension of the Charlevoix Snowmobile Trail, which connects Charlevoix to the Northern Michigan Snowmobile Trail Network. Be sure to take advantage of the trail that gives snowmobilers access to shopping and dining in downtown Charlevoix. The trail to downtown is open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Last year’s ride-in was a great success drawing between 150-200 riders from all over the state. These individuals came to town to celebrate the sport while shopping and eating at local businesses. Snowmobile club members & supporters are hoping that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever.
