Chassis difference between Apex and RX1

Curious what the difference is in the Apex and Rx1 chassis. Is it more than seat and riser bar? I asking because I found an 05 RX1 that's a pretty good deal. If you put a taller seat (apex, boss, etc) and a riser bar on the sled will that make it very close to the Apex in the ride and stability or not? How does it corner vs. the Apex?

the chasis is basicly the same, the difference is the steering mount inside the delta box and the higher seat moving the driver forward and up.

Apex moves the drive 6" forward and 2.5" up. If you use a Apex seat and a pivot risor to move the bars ahead 3" or so your awfully close. Also the front suspension geometry was changed I think more caster was added. I put the apex front end on and apex seat and with a bar risor I will have a RX-1PEX LOL

Do ya need to change the bulkhead to get the apex geometry? Or just a-arms? Or aluminum knuckles/spindle?

you dont have to change the bulkhead, but the a-arms and spindles are different, and will bolt in.
