Just a quick FYI for those needing a replacement TPS. A dealer in Maine has 5 of them on ebay for $50 a piece. That's 75% off.
Like some other TY members the TPS in my 06 Apex has always been sketchy and last season started stalling out pretty often at intersections. Adjusting the idle doesn't fix it. At any rate - I just ordered one and wanted to pass on the sale to any others in need.

Did a new tps cure your problem? my sled idles fine sometimes and then sometimes it just shuts off, new plugs this year, donuts are in good shape, are they easy to replace?

Yes, with the new TPS my troubles are gone. The idle is MUCH more consistent. The same TPS that came stock in the 2006 Apex was recalled in all of Yamahas motorcycles. They didn't recall it in the sleds because it didn't pose the potential safety issue that it would in a street bike. it was a piece of cake to install.
