So I bought a 2016 Phazer XTX for my daughter..... I'm a Polaris guy but my dealer sell Yamaha so I buy form him.

The oil tank is under the right side panel. Unclip the wire harnes from the top and the dip stick unthreads. Pull it out, wipe, dip (don't screw it back in yet) read it and then screw it back in.
