Hey guys, I'm sure you saw my topic for the plastic chrome exhaust covers but one of those guys (Indy) asked me to chrome some other metal parts on his sled. So the reason for this post is to see if there is any interest out here for chroming other parts on your sleds. My metal chromer here in Cleveland is pretty good and also quite a bit cheaper than any one else I have worked with. So if I can chrome some parts for Indy, why not someone else on this forum. Hit me with some feedback if this sounds interesting to any of youse.-------Cubby

Cubby, your chrome guy have a web site? I will have to say his prices are very reasonable. Especially for plastic. I will have some peices this fall from my bike to get done. If you send anything else out this summer let me know, i may send out my rear bumper off the sled. I also have a belt drive cover from my bike that needs to be redone. I have a spare so i can ship that out to u also

Nitro, I have 2 chrome guys. One here in Cleveland for metal and the other one does plastic. The metal chromer is even more reasonable than the plastic guy.The price for the exhaust covers is so reasonable because I paid for the fixture he uses to chrome them. If you wanted different plastic pieces chromed it costs a minimum of $250. Thats why I posted that topic on here, so others could benefit from me spending the cash to make that fixture. So you really know now that I wanted those covers chromed so bad I was willing to shell out $400 bucks just to get my set of covers chromed. I have been wanting to chrome those covers ever since I got my sled. And no Nitro, my metal chromer guy doesnt have a web site, he doesnt even have a business phone or a sign on his building. He's really wierd, Cheap for chroming, but wierd. ----Cubby
