CL MAX Helmet

I got one. Really like it. Can get cold when you don't have the breath guard on, but not very often I go without that unless its a real warm day, in which case I still wont get cold. The silver can get scuffed pretty easy though, I guess I shoulda went with black. But if I was to get another modular helmet right now I go for the new Scorpion Exo helmet.

I just bought one this year, too. Had it on one ride so far. Seems pretty good, would like to get more miles on to tell for sure. Only thing I noticed is that with a "shellaclava" underneath, it seems a little snug around the chin area. But then, you have to take into account that I'm pretty much a FAT HEAD! I tried the Scorpion helmets, but their biggest size (3XL, I think) is still way too small.

I like mine, this will be the 3rd season with it. Wind noise is low and warmth is good. A little tight on my ears, had to change my balaclava because my old balaclava had a seam right at ear level and would be painfull by the end of the day.

Hey guys. I saw an ad in a mag for the new scorpion (of course I didn't keep it) but, I can't find any info on them via the internet. Any suggestions on how to find more info on them, and prices? Looks nice if the price is right? Do you know if an electric shield is available? I'll never ride with out one again. (dosent mean it has to be plugged in at all times of course..... just available)

Maybe I'm missing something, but none of the lids on the Scorpion page apear to be modular. (I had been there before) The helmet I "think" I saw advertised seemed very simular to the first generation of the "Doo" modular helmet, with a built in sun visor and the flip up face. None of these apear to do that.

By the way. I've been riding with a HJC for 3 years. I thought it was a little loud at first but fixed that by installing headphones with padded ear pieces.. Now, with the MP3 cranked, I don't hear the wind at all!! As far as warmth is concerned I've always purchased on the large size so I can wear a beleclava (sp?) or mask. Not an issue.
