Does anyone know of a way to clean the gold zinc coated parts on the 2011 Apex. XTX. I have noticed black spots on the gold XTX suspension brackets and the steering rods. My old steering rods on my Attak were aluminum. Seems like the plating is not up to par or I got some bad road salt or something on them. Also the black arms on the XTX suspension seem to be rusting. I clean the sled after each ride and spray down with WD40.
