Clock tends to reset itself to 1:00 after about 15 minutes of being set for any given time. If set for 2:30 the engine can be shut off anytime between then and 2:45 with no problem, but after 15 miutes of run time it always goes back to 1:00, regardless of the actual time it was set for. No biggy, but wondered if I'm the Lone Ranger with this default. TKS.---Jim

This is known as the hyper speed regeneration syndrome. The Apex is so fast that no matter where in the world you set the clock it automatically teleports you to 1 o'clock.

Seriously thats a new one, never heard of a clock resetting itself.

No, you're not. My '06 Attak does the same thing. I posted in the past with no results, and even my dealer was puzzled.

its due to daylight saving time....you'll be ok next fall when the clocks go back;)

Which section of the country is always between 1:00 and 1:15? Need to there during lunch break. :jump:

FIX

My dealer contacted Yamaha and they are aware of the problem. The power on continuous wire is either not connected correctly or it is shorting out blowing a fuse. Problem is covered under warranty when taken to your dealer.
