Just got my sled back from the shop. It was dyno @ 178hp. I was wondering if any of you guys would point me in the right direction for clutching for 660 ft drag racing ( Ice and Snow)
I have Dalton 62's with dalton red secondary and red primary and a 52/40 helix. Still trying to setup the weights. Would heelclickers be the better way to go, I like the idea of the screws instead of the rivits. What setup should I use or buy???
The heavy hitters are the easiest weights i have ever used to tune a sled. The 38/20 heelclickers will be fine too but require a lot more monkeying around. I have also used supertips & they are ok but can be a little tricky to get just right. I would say any of the above weights plus they will work with that helix. Get what ever weight you think will work the best & you can get a good price on.
do you have any more info on your cam and where you bought it from? I've had good results with Hauck weights and a shockwave helix but I'm not drag racing on ice, usually up short inclines in 2 ft. of powder.
