Thanks… working on my 16 viper I have found C/C to be out of spec to the short side. (262 mm) Knowing the range of just 3mm ( according to spec) is understandingly ok given the fact belts can vary a bit and belt defection "is" adjustable . I am for sure on the short side which has to effect things I would think. Getting a nice belt height adjustment should be easy to do with 262C/C but it has to effect full shift ratio...267-270mm


Are you planning on running stock 8jp or the 8dn?

8dn, Have checked both the 8dn and 8jp for length and are the same.Are you planning on running stock 8jp or the 8dn?


Shouldn’t be same. Specs say 8jp is 11mm shorter.8dn, Have checked both the 8dn and 8jp for length and are the same.

Thanks! will down load. I will check again but the belts I have 8jp and 8dn showed almost perfectly the same length. I used the lead pencil marking one outside rib and rolled it on perfectly flat surface until mark appeared again and measured...
