I just installed ulmers stage 2 clutch kit very simple to install did it on the sled as instructions said .. Very good product!
I got a question ... This is something I noticed with stock spring and weights as well as ulmers ... Some times when sled sits for a bit and start it cluch engaugement is about 500-800rpm more to get it to engauge it might do this a couple times then it's fine and back to normal If I can remember right ulmers kit is engaugeing around 4000-4200 and like this morning it was running up to 5000 or so anyone elese ever notice this on occasion ? Just wondering if there something else wore that I should be replacing?

How many miles on the clutch? I usually replace all the bushings around 2500-3000 miles.

I just bought sled last spring there is almost 8000miles on sled not sure if any clutch work done does make me think it's binding sometimes!
I got clutch off my old rx1 it was rebuilt last winter could I change my weights from one to other and have same thing? Thought about that earlyer but wasn't sure if all parts becides weights were the same

the rx clutch is the same. your clutch with 8000miles may need a new bushing in the sliding sheave. might as well change the plastic shoes at the same time.
